PM2.5 Countermeasures
SINKO offers the following lineup to deal with airborne particulate matter measuring 2.5 μm or less.
Fine particulate matter (PM2.5)
This refers to small particles of 2.5μm or less (1μm is 1/1000 of a mm) suspended in the air. They are smaller than suspended particulate matter (SPM: particles of 10μm or less), for which environmental standards have been established and measures have been taken.
Because PM2.5 is so small (about 1/30 the thickness of a hair), it can easily penetrate deep into the lungs, and there are concerns about its effects on the circulatory system as well as the respiratory system.
Particulate matter includes those that are directly emitted by burning materials, etc., and those that are formed by chemical reactions in the ambient air from gaseous air pollutants such as sulfur oxides (SOx), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and volatile organic compounds (VOC). Sources of particulate matter include facilities that generate soot such as boilers and incinerators, facilities that generate dust such as coke ovens and mineral deposits, and those of human origin such as automobiles, ships, and aircraft, as well as natural sources such as soil, oceans, and volcanoes.
Thanks to the efforts under the Air Pollution Control Act, such as restrictions on smoke-generating facilities at factories and workplaces, and vehicle exhaust gas restrictions, the average annual concentrations of SPM and PM2.5 have been on a downward trend.
For Air Washer
Evaporative Humidifier type Air Washer ( 2rayer 1 way model)

The treated air is brought into contact with an element on which cleaning water has been dripped, removing water-soluble gas components contained in the outside air.
No need for a circulation tank, making it compact and easy to maintain.
Features
- High gas removal performance with a small amount of cleaning water
- No need to manage water quality based on pH or conductivity
Achieves reliable gas removal with a small amount of cleaning water
You can select the performance you need by freely adding cells.
The amount of water used is only L/G = 0.01.
No need for water quality management
The makeup water is passed through the element and then drained as is, so there is no need to manage water quality based on pH or conductivity.
Easy maintenance
The cleaning water sent to the air washer is dripped directly into the drip element and drained, making maintenance easy as there is no need for a circulation pump or circulation tank.
Space-saving design
By reducing the number of drip elements (cells) used, high removal performance and space savings are achieved.
For Filter
In areas with high PM2.5 concentrations, it is possible to incorporate a filter for treating outside air into the air conditioner.
